About This EUSR Training Course
TRS Safety Training’s Basic Structural Climber Refresher is now delivered as part of our comprehensive joint Climber Rescue course. This telecom safety training is designed for experienced industrial climbers who need to revalidate their initial or basic climber certification with the latest legislation updates and industry techniques.
Arqiva & MATS Approval: This course is fully approved by Arqiva and the MATS Group, meeting all prerequisites for entry and climbing access on Arqiva telecommunication sites across the UK.
Practical Outdoor Training: All practical sessions are conducted on outdoor training structures, replicating real-world telecom tower environments. Students should bring weather-appropriate clothing and the necessary PPE for working at height.
EUSR Certification & Validation
- Annual Revalidation: Certificate valid for 12 months through the EUSR registration scheme
- EUSR ID Card Included: Course fees include registration for virtual EUSR ID cards (Physical cards may incur a small fee)
- Industry Recognition: Nationally recognized qualification for telecom and broadcast infrastructure work
Course Prerequisites
To attend this working at height training refresher, students must hold one of the following current, in-date certificates:
- EUSR basic climber certificate
- EUSR Initial Climber certificate
Important: Proof of certification must be provided in advance. No proof of certificate = no course attendance.
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Understanding of spoken and written English
- Completion of fit-for-work declaration before course commencement
